We ask that when attending Groundwater CMF you follow COVID Safe practices to ensure a safe, friendly and fun environment for all. Together we can help slow the spread of the virus and keep our community safe.

We are working with Queensland Health to create a COVID Safe festival experience for Groundwater CMF 2021. The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and team is our top priority and we are committed to delivering a COVID Safe event in 2021.

In the event that Queensland’s restrictions change and impact the delivery of this event, we will keep you updated via our website and social media channels.

CONTACT TRACING

During the festival we will be using the Check In QLD mobile app to help keep your Groundwater CMF experience COVID Safe. To do your bit and help create a safe experience for everyone, all you need to do is:

✔ fill in your details once
✔ scan our QR code when you visit

Don’t have a smartphone? We’ll be able to help you check in during the festival.

What we’ll be doing

 
  • Monitoring any changes to COVID restrictions and updating our COVID Safe plan and procedures as needed.

  • Making hand sanitiser stations readily available throughout the event zone.

  • Conducting regular cleaning throughout the event zone to reduce the risks.

  • Utilising the Queensland Government Check In QLD mobile app for contact tracing purposes.

  • Engaging with volunteers to ensure COVID Safety is top of mind and help you, our attendees remember to maintain social distancing.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Staying home if unwell.

  • Listening for any information and COVID Safe messages that are delivered before, during and after the event.

  • Downloading the official Check In QLD mobile app to register your attendance at the event.

  • Checking in at the event on arrival by the signed QR codes.

  • Maintaining social distancing and avoiding any crowded space.

  • Using hand sanitisers throughout the event zone to reduce the spread

We plan on delivering Groundwater CMF as you know and love it in 2021. We are working with Queensland Health to ensure that our festival adheres to all measures outlined in our Queensland Health COVID Safe plan. If restrictions change resulting in any modifications to the programming and format of the event, an announcement will be made via social media and our website.

We will be guided by Queensland Health as to how we can deliver the event in 2021. Unfortunately, at this point in time our team are still working through the festival zone to determine how Groundwater CMF will look in a COVID Safe environment.

If restrictions change any modifications to the programming and format of the event, an announcement will be made via social media and our website.

As the festival does not take place until November 2021, restrictions are likely to change between now and then. The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and team is our top priority and we will continue to monitor COVID-19 regulations to ensure our event complies at all times. Rest assured, we are working hard to bring Groundwater CMF back and deliver a COVID Safe version in 2021.

Ultimately the choice is yours. However, if you are looking at accommodation options, we do recommend securing your preferred accommodation experience sooner rather than later. We also recommend enquiring about the refund/cancellation policy prior to making a booking – policies are becoming more flexible in these uncertain and ever-changing times.

Groundwater CMF will be guided by the Queensland Government’s COVID-19 regulations at the time of the festival. Unfortunately, any border restrictions that are in place at the time of the event will be out of our control. We will keep you informed on any modifications required to the programming and format of the event.

We plan to see Groundwater CMF go ahead as we know and love it in 2021. However, given these uncertain and ever-changing times, it is hard to know what is ahead. We highly recommend enquiring about the refund/cancellation policy prior to making any bookings for this event, as any bookings made are at the discretion of the individual.

At this point in time Vaccine Passports are not required by the Government in order to hold an event, so we will not be asking our Groundwater attendees to present one on arrival. We will continue to be led by the advice of the Queensland Government, should there be any changes to the festival that impact our fans we will provide an update on our social media channels and website.

The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and team is our top priority. We will not be asking individuals to provide their vaccinated/unvaccinated status to our team upon arrival. However, attendees will be encouraged to check-in using the Queensland Government mobile app, ‘Check-in QLD’ this ensures we’re providing a COVID safe environment for not only our attendees but the wider community.

We will keep you informed on any modifications required to the programming and format of the event via our social media channels and website.

Our team are closely monitoring all border restrictions and will be led by the advice of Queensland Health. We are forging ahead with strategic planning, looking at every different avenue and working on a range of scenarios with the vision of rolling out the highly anticipated Groundwater CMF 2021. Keep an eye on our social media channels and website for any updates and we hope to see you on the Gold Coast this November.

Rest assured, we are working hard to bring back Groundwater CMF in 2021 and provide a COVID Safe environment for attendees, volunteers and our wider community.
