Experience Gold Coast (EGC), a controlled entity of the City of Gold Coast, aims to develop a portfolio of events and festivals to attract people from near and far to the beautiful Gold Coast, whilst showcasing the city as the ultimate event and festival destination.

As one of three festivals proudly produced by EGC, Groundwater Country Music Festival has established itself as an award-winning country music festival that brings the country to the coast. Other events produced by EGC include Blues on Broadbeach and Cooly Rocks On. EGC also collaborates with event organisers to support the delivery of a vibrant festival and event culture here on the Gold Coast.

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) is a statutory body of the Queensland Government and the state’s lead marketing, tourism experience and destination development and major events agency. TEQ aims to build Queensland’s tourism and events industry to foster innovation, drive industry growth and boost visitor expenditure.

Established in 2014 to respond to the needs of Queensland primary producers impacted by prolonged drought, Drought Angels has expanded to provide financial assistance, food hampers, care packs, and mental wellbeing support to over 4,700 primary producers affected by all natural disasters (drought, flood, fire, and plagues) in over 1,400 communities across Australia.
