Road closures

To ensure the safe operation of Groundwater Country Music Festival (CMF), certain road closures will be put in place. We remind all businesses to notify suppliers of the changed traffic conditions as delivery vehicles will be required to seek alternative drop of locations once road closures have commenced (e.g. Gold Coast Highway Service Road and Albert Avenue). 

Road closures are subject to change, any changes will be communicated on the Groundwater CMF website and via our newsletter. For more information on the festival, please view the Road Closure Map and Stakeholder Letter.

From 6:30am Wednesday 16 October – 3:00PM Monday 21 October 2024

Surf Parade

  • Full road closure of Surf Parade between Queensland Avenue and Victoria Avenue
  • Local Driveway Access Only – Capricornia Avenue to Queensland Avenue

Queensland Avenue

  • Local Access Only / Parking Bays left available – Federation Avenue to Surf Parade
  • Parking Bays left available from Jubilee Avenue to Surf Parade 
Albert Avenue
 
  • Local Access Only – Albert Avenue (from The Wave driveway) to Old Burleigh Road

From 1:00am Friday 18 October – 11:00PM Sunday 20 October 2024

Oracle Boulevard

  • Full road closure of Oracle Boulevard
