Groundwater Rises again

As the days get longer and the Gold Coast dives into another iconic summer, one of Australia’s fastest-growing country music festivals is set to return to the streets, parks, and bars throughout Broadbeach. Yes, Groundwater Rises Again in 2021.  Only this time —it’s turning up the heat!

Groundwater Rises Again in 2021

Groundwater Country Music Festival was postponed in 2020 due to COVID restrictions, and thanks to the hard work and determination of all Australians, Major Events Gold Coast has announced that Groundwater will be back in 2021 with a revised date, scheduled for 12-14 November.

Yes, you heard that right. The move will enhance everything the festival has to offer, showcasing the best of the Gold Coast as well as doing what it does best, bringing Country music to Australia’s favourite playground.

So put on your daisy dukes, pack some sunscreen, and prepare for a spectacular coastal getaway starring your favourite country music artists, because the sunshine and beautiful ocean won’t be missing out on this one.

Festival Director Mark Duckworth said

“We’re excited to be giving Groundwater artists and fans something to look forward to and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Gold Coast for another great weekend, celebrating all things country music.  The Gold Coast has so much to offer to our festival fans. So, for 2021 we made the decision to move Groundwater to November allowing us to make the most of the sun, surf and sand that sits on the festival’s doorstep”
