Groundwater Country Music Festival, due to be held July 24-26, is in a ‘watch and wait’ position.
The team at Broadbeach Alliance is keeping a watchful eye and ear on the current Government recommendations and will re-evaluate at the end of May based on the Queensland Government’s current legislation on non-essential mass gatherings.
Festival Director, Mark Duckworth, says:
“We have worked hard to put together a festival line-up we are proud of and that we know fans will love and NEED to lift their spirits come July. We remain optimistic yet cautious in this challenging time. We thank our artists and our fans for their patience as we closely monitor the situation, consider all options and continue to put the safety of our patrons, musicians, crew and wider community first. Stay tuned for May.”
