First lineup just announced for Groundwater CMF 2024!

With over a decade of unforgettable performances under our belt, we’re returning to the Gold Coast this October and bringing some of Australia’s most iconic country music artists along for the ride. Get ready for Country Music, Coastal Fun, and Good Times 18-20 October 2024!

Leading our first announcement is the Queen of Country herself, legendary songstress Kasey Chambers, joined by an impressive array of talent including Canadian singer-songwriter Tim Hicks, American country music legend Jim Lauderdale, and Grammy-nominated artist Gord Bamford from Canada.

Plus some of Australia’s favorite country music artists like the ever-popular Shannon Noll, multiple Golden Guitar-winning duo Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Taylor Moss, Josh Setterfield, rising stars Max Jackson and Sweet Talk, and local Gold Coast performer Emily Grace Taylor, to name just a few.

Kasey Chambers

With 12 award winning albums under her belt, Kasey Chambers’ brilliant songwriting and world-class performance have earned her a rightful position on the global country artist stage and is one of the most popular and acclaimed artists of her generation in Australia.

Tim Hicks

Gracing the Groundwater CMF stage for the first time is Canadian country star Tim Hicks. Hailing from Ontario, the singer-songwriter’s vast catalogue of highly praised releases has earned him multiple Gold and Platinum records and a strong following around the world.

Shannon Noll

Rising to fame as the runner-up of the record-breaking first series of Australian Idol, with a multi-platinum debut album. Twenty years later Shannon Noll is one of Australia’s most cherished and recognised recording artists, with seven ARIA top 10 albums, including two multi-platinum #1 ARIA albums, 17 platinum and three gold.

Max Jackson

Gord Bamford is Australian Country Music’s best kept secret, born in Traralgon Victoria but based in Canada, Gord is a country music superstar in his new home and we’re excited to have him join the 2024 lineup.

Fan favourites, Felicity and Josh have created a sacred place in the hearts of many who cross their path with their candid and charming music and storytelling. The pair continue to carve out a distinctive place in the Australian music landscape with their unique blend of songs, sounds and story.

Max Jackson’s journey from Coonamble, NSW to national fame in Australian country music has been remarkable. Mentored by Gina Jeffreys and produced by Rod McCormack, Max released her acclaimed debut album in 2020. Winning the Toyota Star Maker competition in 2022 propelled her career further.

With plenty more artists yet to be announced and set to perform over the three-day Groundwater Country Music Festival, where else would you rather be this October?
