Open Season Band might be a 25 hour flight from country music’s Tennessee heartland, but they certainly don’t sound it. Marrying traditional Bluegrass and modern Country, influenced by the likes of Old Crow Medicine Show, Billy Strings and country legend Alan Jackson in a style they’ve labelled Hillybilly-Honkytonk, this Brisbane-based six piece is bringing their own unique sound to the Australian Country music scene.
