Bio

Recognised as one of Australia’s most eclectic country singer/songwriters, Graeme Connors has received numerous awards during his 40+ year career for his contribution to country music.

Golden Guitars, ARIA, PPCA, and APRA Awards line his shelves, with his most recent prestigious accolade, 2016 inductee to the Roll of Renown (Australia’s Country Music Hall of Fame). Graeme’s well-crafted songs have led to a distinguished career with a total of 20 albums (one Platinum, three Gold) released. Graeme has also written an extensive catalogue of songs for other artists, including John Denver, Jon English, and Slim Dusty. Graeme’s latest album, From the Backcountry‚ was released in August 2018 and features the singles One Life and Kimberley Frontier. He could be forgiven for taking time out and resting on his laurels; but not so for this creative powerhouse. After co-writes with the Wolfe Brothers and Adam Harvey (including Adam’s latest hit single Highway Number One), Graeme is back in the studio working on his latest project.

We can’t wait to see what Graeme brings to Groundwater CMF, 12-14 November 2021.
