Brisbane based guitar-slinger and singer Dana Gehrman delivers a vintage sound that evokes rich nostalgia. Taking influence from the halcyon days of 70s west coast music, Gehrman offers a mix of upbeat, feel-good tracks all with unfaltering vocals. Armed with her old Fender telecaster and matching Fender amps, Dana takes no prisoners on stage with more panache and vitality than most rock n roll men could dream of. Fresh from her success of being a finalist for the prestigious Carrol Lloyd Award, Gehrman has spent time on the road with Tim Rogers, Mick Thomas and Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon. She’s opened for acts such as The Teskey Brothers, Russell Morris, Sarah McLeod (The Super Jesus) and more.
Be sure to catch Dana Gehrman’s performance at Groundwater CMF, 12-14 November 2021.
