Returning to Broadbeach from 28-30 October, we’ve just added a special friend to this year’s Groundwater Country Music Festival (CMF)!

We’re beyond proud to welcome Drought Angels as our official Charity Partner for the next three years, helping to raise much needed funds and relief to farmers and their communities across the nation.

Having had a presence at Groundwater CMF since 2019, Drought Angels is a charity run by big hearts, a quality we feel is shared by all country music artists and fans.

Major Events Gold Coast Director of Festivals and Events Mark Duckworth said the Groundwater CMF team was proud to be able to partner with, and support, the charity for the coming three years.

“Drought Angels does so much incredible work supporting our Australian farmers and their communities, and we couldn’t think of a charity better suited for Groundwater CMF,” said Mark.

“Our festival is all about community and bringing people together through country music. Regional Australia has done it really tough for many years now and anything we can do as a festival community to help Drought Angels continue to provide that much-needed support we are more than happy to do.”

So come for the party this Spring! Enjoy the gorgeous Gold Coast sunshine and groove to all your country favourites like Seaforth, Andrew Farriss, Tami Neilson, Jayne Denham and more, all whilst supporting Drought Angels’ important work.
