Groundwater Country Music Festival (CMF) and KIX Country, are stoked to be bringing back the Groundwater KIX-Start competition to help country artists showcase their talent, kick-start their careers and gain experience within this wild but amazing industry!

Prizing

The winner of the 2023 Groundwater KIX-Start Competition will be treated to the ultimate prize in country music! Could all of this be yours soon?

  • Performance at the 2023 Groundwater Country Music Festival (inc. flights & accommodation)
  • Support Act for Lee Kernaghan as part of his national tour 
  • Exclusive, one on one song writing masterclass with award winning, number one hitmaker Phil Barton
  • Record a single at The Music Cellar studios with award winning music producer Rod McCormack
  • $6,000 PR package from Varrasso PR – Radio & Video Promotion, Song Appraisal
  • One on one mentoring experience with Casey Barnes, with the opportunity to pick the brain of one of the most successful and current Aussie artists
