The festival is held in the heart of the Broadbeach CBD, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Major stages feature in Surf Parade, Old Burleigh Road, Victoria Avenue and Oracle Boulevard.

Sorry! Unfortunately not. As Groundwater Country Music Festival is an unlicensed event, alcohol can only be consumed within licensed venues.

Sure! But only in licensed venues. Remember that this alcohol cannot be taken out of the licensed venues.

There sure is! Groundwater Country Music Festival is situated in the heart of the Broadbeach CBD with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, fast food and supermarkets to suit everyone’s taste buds.

Groundwater Country Music Festival operates in a fully functioning CBD precinct with a multitude of food types and options, catering to a variety of needs and cuisines. It’s pretty rare for extra food options to be added to the precinct with all the options available.

We work closely with Art and Craft on the Coast Markets to provide market stalls to the festival. If you would like additional information or would like to provide an expression of interest please contact them via their website http://artandcraft.com.au/

We are a family-friendly music event for all ages but be mindful that some venues may have age restrictions due to licensing.

Sorry! Sadly, there are no camp grounds located within the festival as the event is located in the heart of an open, CBD area. But don’t worry! There are plenty of accommodations options available.  If you are looking for Gold Coast Camping Grounds go to the Visit Gold Coast website here for all the best options – including information on backpackers and hostels.

No way – it’s totally FREE for you to enjoy! But if you’re looking to score a front row spot for one of our headline acts, we do have a ‘first in, best dressed’ policy.

Of course you can! You are more than welcome to bring your own portable chairs to the festival. But don’t forget to follow the guidelines below to make sure everyone has the best weekend possible.

Designated Chair Zones

You can find the ‘designated chair zones’ at each stage with signage and bunting.

We want to keep you safe!

To keep you safe we have created ‘chair exclusion zones’ at each stage. These zones only come into effect at certain times throughout the day. Depending on the programming this could change daily, so please follow the instructions on the signage and from security as required.

If you’re unsure, speak up!

If you aren’t sure where you can place your chair, please ask security.

Broadbeach Mall Stage

Please remember that only a limited amount of seating will be provided by the Festival at the Broadbeach Mall Stage.

Keep it fun and fair

Remember to be respectful of those who have already placed chairs out. We’re all here to have a great time!

Unattended items

Please do not leave your chairs unattended for safety reasons, and if deemed required, unattended chairs may be removed by the Festival.

Let’s get organised

Unfortunately, we do not sell or hire chairs within the festival. However, there are surrounding shopping centres where you may be able to purchase chairs from once you get here. Just don’t leave it too late!

Finally… have fun!

We ask that you respect and follow these rules to give everyone the chance to experience the best that Groundwater Country Music Festival has to offer. Don’t forget to hashtag #groundwatercmf on your photos!

Come on in! As we are a FREE event within the open CBD area of Broadbeach, you can come and go as you like.

There sure is! To get your Groundwater Country Music Festival merchandise signed, head to the ‘Onsite Retail’ tent that sell artist CD’s. Artist signings are after the shows but stay up to date by following our social media. See the Site Map in the program for the location.

Yep! There are several public toilets located throughout the festival. There are also public toilets located in The Oasis Shopping Centre, Niecon Plaza and in venues.

You betcha! Groundwater Country Music Festival is a family-friendly music event for all ages. If that doesn’t keep the little ones entertained for long enough there are carousel rides for children as well as the Art & Craft Markets on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July.

In 2018 we are also excited to introduce the Variety Kids Korner located in Kurrawa Park. Check out the Variety Bash themed truck call tomator, a bouncy castle, princesses and face painting. The little ones will have as much fun as the parents during Groundwater Country Music Festival.

Like our music, Variety Kids Korner is free but if you can, we do encourage donations before joining in on the fun.
